The view was great. Nice, hearty breakfast.

If you don’t have a car, it’s problematic. Better to stay somewhere closer to town. There’s no on-site concierge to get assistance. It’s a small winery but there is no wine tasting. The caretaker has extremely limited English and thinks she speaks and understands better than she does. It was very frustrating trying to communicate with her. She didn’t want to use google translate. We tried communicating in Spanish which she said is the same as Portuguese, it’s not.

The view is stunning, the Quinta is modern and beautiful, the owner and staff very welcoming and helpful.

In terms of the property itself, it is clean, well managed, modern and of a high level in design. In terms of location the property is very challenged to drive to and would not recommend for anyone not of full awareness (it is near many wineries or Quintas). The staff did their best and delivered an exceptional breakfast every morning. Our stay was memorable if you can overcome the drives up and down.
