Wonderful place, great people and a nice pool and wonderful grounds. The place is nice and quiet with well appointed rooms, I plan to return to the lodge next year if possible. Lots of restaurants near by but sadly the lodge restaurant was closed .

It would have been nice if the restaurant at the lodge was open as it looked great with a great view. Lots of nice restaurants close by so not a big deal.

Jo and Simon were wonderful hosts, and the location was so incredibly beautiful. We would love to come back!

Great breakfast

We stayed here because we needed a comfortable place to stay while we rested up for a few days. It was absolutely perfect. Simon was an absolute delight and made us feel so welcome and was ready to give us anything we needed. The room was so comfortable, the patio area was perfect for reading/eating and watching birds. We saw lots of birds, toucans, and even some fireflies at night! There are a few restaurants within walking distance and only a 20 minute drive to the Arenal area, with hiking and hot springs. You can walk seven minutes down to the lake with the sweet dogs that belong to the hotel. I will absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

What a beautiful place! We saw more different types of birds just sitting at the balcony eating breakfast than in any of our hikes (& guided tours) ! 🤩 The room and outside walls are also painted beautifully with tropical plants and birds 😍 Simon is awesome and super welcoming. He will go above and beyond, whatever you need or have Qs feel free to ask away! 3 cutie doggies Gypsy, Milu & Teddy 🥰 Short walk down to the lakeshore for beautiful sunset views ✨ 💯 recommend ! Also special thanks to Margarita for making breakfast and sharing stories 💕

Lovely spot. Relaxing place with nice rooms and a fine pool and garden weer we saw tucans and many oher birds. The included breakfasts were also great. It's a good locations to see all the highlights of the fortuna region, and stil a nice tranquil place, away from the Fortuna tourist jam.

We felt like home! A place, where we found new energy and positive spirit. Super comfortable and also very well designed. Away from the rush of La Fortuna, but a short ride. Beautiful countryside. If you are a nature lover as we are, you can spot a big colony of montezuma birds right from your window (not noisy). Mountain view from the terase. Super helpful and friendly owners. We didnt want to ever leave.

The location was beautiful overlooking the lush valley and hillside. We had a very large room with a lovely view and walk out to the pool area. Wonderful!!
