Wadi Sabarah Lodge

Sinceramente non saprei da dove cominciare per raccontare tutti i punti positivi che abbiamo riscontrato io e il mio gruppo presso questa struttura. Iniziamo dalla reception: vorrei menzionare la gentilezza e disponibilità di Michael, che ci ha accolto e ha organizzato per noi tutti i transfer. Su richiesta, l’hotel organizza anche varie escursioni. Vorrei poi menzionare la bellezza del posto. Si tratta di una realtà plastic-free, ecosostenibile, che dà veramente molta importanza all’ambiente. Si trova in una posizione super affascinante, dove il contrasto tra mare e deserto è veramente qualcosa di incredibile. C’è anche una piscina stupenda che si può utilizzare H24. Colgo l’occasione per ringraziare Chico, il pool boy, che è stato gentilissimo, sempre con un sorriso e pronto a venirci incontro. Le camere sono semplicemente stupende, le foto corrispondono effettivamente alla realtà. Voglio anche ringraziare il personale del ristorante, tra cui Nabil, il responsabile di sala, e ovviamente tutto il suo team, così come il team della cucina. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati tutti i giorni, sia per la colazione che per la cena. Abbiamo visitato molti posti nella nostra vita, ma sinceramente un’attenzione al dettaglio così forte e questo senso di accoglienza così caloroso non li avevamo mai trovati da nessun’altra parte. Questo hotel è veramente di un livello superiore e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è fantastico. Davvero non ho nulla di negativo da dire, perché la nostra esperienza è stata veramente meravigliosa e senza queste persone non sarebbe stato lo stesso. Quindi grazie di cuore a tutto il personale di Wadi Sabarah Lodge, anche all’autista che ci ha sempre accompagnato durante i nostri tour. Andateci, perché è un luogo in cui puoi davvero staccare: sei isolato dal caos e, soprattutto dopo tre giorni frenetici trascorsi al Cairo, la pace, la tranquillità e la natura che abbiamo trovato lì sono state veramente un toccasana.

Durante il soggiorno c'era sempre vento per cui non abbiamo potuto fare il bagno nella spiaggia di fronte all'hotel, inoltre vi è una barriera corallina e con la bassa marea non si può (giustamente) fare il bagno. A 10 min di macchina dall'hotel c'è la spiaggia di Abu Dabbab con lido, bagni, ristoranti, e una barriera corallina meravigliosa che potete esplorare anche senza una guida, andateci

The hotel was exactly what I was looking for: peace and quiet, no entertainment, no buffet with leftovers from the day before, and an adults-only structure. I really appreciated the huge room with a terrace, the architecture of the building and the beautiful library of books on Egypt, in perfect Art Deco style. As a vegetarian, the food was absolutely no problem for me, and I really loved that the dishes were always local cuisine; I’m not interested in eating pasta and pizza when I’m abroad.

I liked everything

We loved the Ethos and sense of place as well as the subtle design and construction from local limestone. The staff are amazing, warm and really go out of their way to make every interaction special. The food is incredible and having the Dive Centre on site is so great. The diving staff at Emperor are equally fantastic integrate and the nightly talks in the library are so interesting.

Wir sind absolut begeistert von diesem Hotel! Die Zimmer sind wunderschön gestaltet, teilweise mit traditionellem Korallenstein gebaut, sehr sauber und bequem – mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer oder in die Wüste. Das Restaurant ist etwas ganz Besonderes: Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich aufmerksam und herzlich und lesen einem förmlich jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Das Essen ist traditionell ägyptisch, abwechslungsreich und ausgesprochen lecker. Besonders die vegetarischen Mittagsgerichte überraschen immer wieder positiv und überzeugen auf ganzer Linie. Ein Highlight ist das täglich frisch gebackene Brot aus dem traditionellen Ofen, das zu allen Mahlzeiten serviert wird. Auch feines Gebäck wird hausgemacht hergestellt. Dazu gibt es eine schöne Auswahl an Weinen und eine gigantische Aussicht Richtung Wüste und Meer. Vor dem Abendessen hat man die Möglichkeit, sehr interessante Vorträge zu besuchen. Außerdem gibt es ein Museum mit traditioneller beduinischer Kleidung sowie einen beeindruckenden Wüstengarten mit über 2000 heimischen Pflanzenarten – inklusive spannender Führungen. Der gepflegte Infinity-Pool lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein, und sogar dort wird man aufmerksam mit Getränken versorgt. Besonders gefallen hat uns außerdem die ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Es gibt keine Animation oder laute Unterhaltung, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Hotel ist familienfreundlich, erlaubt jedoch nur Kinder, die sich entsprechend ruhig verhalten. Dadurch bleibt die gesamte Anlage angenehm friedlich und erholsam. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt über alle Maße genossen und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!

Nur winzige Kleinigkeiten, die absolut nicht nennenswert sind.

The location is perfect. House reef is astonishing. The whole property is so relaxing and peaceful, we loved it. Also 2 dogs that were so friendly and cuddly, i hope somebody is taking care of them🧡

Außergewöhnlich schöne Architektur und Gesamtatmosphäre. Außergewöhnlich freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal.

Zu den Mahlzeiten gab es jeweils nur ein Gericht, ägyptische Küche. Dazu Musik ausschließlich aus den 1920er Jahren. Man konnte vom Strand nicht ins Wasser gehen.

Great, quiet location by the Red Sea . Good snorkelling at the House Reef and Great Scuba diving on site with Emperor Divers. Also has the excellent Red Sea Project base on site. Good swimming pool that was never over crowded. Good reliable fast wifi. Fantastic Meals with friendly and professional service Team...Mila catered for our every need.
