Cabins at Grand Canyon West

Location was great! Close to everything we wanted to see and do. Cabin was small, but comfortable. The shower was hot, with great pressure .

Location of the cabins is great with a nice view of the canyon. Cabin was clean and looked great. They provided standard shower items, coffee pot with coffee, microwave and fridge. They even provided 2 bottles of water in the room for making coffee or just drinking. They provide a very good free wireless network for Internet. You need it because cell service is sparse out there.

Bed was a little too firm of a memory phone bed and the pillows were too thin and hard. Need fluffier pillows. The TV in the room needed wireless network to function, but couldn't directly connect to their free wireless network. To make the TV work I had to connect my phone to their wireless network (so you could sign in for free) then use my phones hotspot to share the wireless out. Then I was able to tell the TV to use my Hotspot for wireless Internet. Then the TV worked great. They need to look into making the TVs work directly with their wireless because most people don't know how to do the Hotspot from their phone. Or they could provide directions in the room for how to use your phones hotspot to provide the TV Internet. Good thing is their Wireless network is free and worked very well.

Perfect location

No availability of larger rooms for a single parent traveling with multiple kids, other than that, everything was absolutely perfect and no complaints

The cabin is so small even though we book for four (4) pax. Though they put up 2 queen beds, the room size is just too small. Its quite difficult to move around with our luggage and what not. Despite booking specific for 4 people, there were only 2 bath towels provided and toiletries provided also meant for just one person ! There's no way to contact housekeeping after 10pm.

Nowhere to put your clothes. Airconditioning unit was strange, coming on for about 10 seconds and off for 10 seconds all day and night. The refrigerator didn't work, the Wifi didn't work, the phone didn't work. The food was horribly expensive ($57 for two chicken sandwiches, side and drinks)

The simplicity and rsutic feel. The location - a great walking track to see the Geand Canyon at sunset (although after doing this, we bumped into a park ranger who told us the track closes at 5pm!). The sunrise was stunning. A fantastic fridge that gets very cold. The bed was comfy. The air con worked well. It was clean and well presented.

The lack of information around. You must do your research first and be prepared. We were lucky to stumble across it but everything shuts by 5pm including all options to eat however our room had a great microwave so we pre-purchased a microwave meal for dinner. Although there were plenty of stars, the skies werent as dark as we were expecting. The wifi was a little hit and miss. The shower didnt have good water pressure. The lady who was on the desk around 1pm comes across pretty abrupt and rude but if you actually talk to her, she wasnt.
