Lack of wine and dirty swimming pool

Cute property located next to the beach. The property has a good location for a safari to yala national park. Kind staff.

The surrounding is very remote and quiet (which is a plus) but therefore it’s hard to have lunch/dinner elsewhere. The restaurant in the hotel is a bit more “expensive” compared to other (even more fancy) restaurants and a lot of dishes / drinks (cocktails) weren’t available.

Amazing hotel and service. Big kudos to Jeewa and the team: they were super effective and quick in resolving any issues that came up. Meals (on preorder) were quick and fresh.

The hotel Manager (Jeewa) is exceptional, he took care of us during all our stay at NIKARA. Everyday he brought fresh fish for us that was very delicious! Without him our experience at NIKARA would not have been the same. Breakfast was delicious!

The water of the pool was turbid; the hotel don’t have wine in house

The location is amazing. nice empty beach in front for a nice morning stroll. The crew is Super friendly.

The rooms are very dirty, and dark not light at all, the bathroom too We booked the private villa with private pool, it was disgusting and very dusty and dirty, we couldn’t even sit on the sits it was plainly of spiders web everywhere, even in the big pool it’s impossible to swim or sun bathing Mosquitoes I can’t tell you, it was a nightmare staying there, food very limited and no taste at all The bad sheets smells so bad We stayed 2 nights they didn’t clean our room or changed the towels I did run away from that place How can the people rent it to tourists

Peaceful location close to a beautiful beach. The hotel is spacious and comfortable. The staff very accommodating and friendly.

Location couldn't be ay better, right on Mawella Beach, amazing. The rooms are beautifully done, spacious with a terrace overlooking the beach. Staff all lovely and a great overall experience. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful location. We got a nice room with a private dip pool. Due to proximity to national park you get to see some exotic wildlife at the property itself like langurs, peacocks, squirrels etc.
