NIKARA Luxury Beach House

I only liked the location it is straight on the ocean.

Rooms were no very clean, food was average and limited choices the hotel is only 7 rooms I thought it was bigger. Facilities are below average and the pool was not clean. I even wanted to mention my feedback to the staff but they weren’t interested in hearing it. Also they forgot to give me my passport matter checkin and I ended up forgetting it after reaching Mirissa and they weren’t interested blaming me that I was the one who forgot it. I know I should’ve checked everything before leaving but the fact that they were blaming me was not nice.

We loved the location -just by the beach! We stayed only for one night, but loved the tropical yard, the beach and the pool area. It was super relaxing after a day at the Safari in Yara. The staff was superfriendly and welcoming. The rooms and bathroom extended our expectations. So beautifully designed. Same with the hallways and lounge/restaurant area. We were mindblown by the beach, totally free from tourists and people, long white beaches you can only dream of! We would highly recommend to stay here! Especially after a trip to Yara.

Since it was the start of November which is low-season, they were really short on things to offer on the menu. It was ok for a day to only have a few alternatives, but would recommend them to rather have a shorter or updated menu, then to meet the customers with a lot of “no we don’t have”. Specially beeing so close to the sea, we would think they could offer sea food everyday.

This hotel could have been a 10. The structure of the place the staff and the location are as good as any we have seen in Sri Lanka..

It is let down by the upkeep. Lamps not working, a kettle that has to be plugged in on the floor next to the bed, pool not cleaned, room not serviced. All things that could be fixed in an hour or so at almost no cost

The hotel is located in a quiet area, which provides peace and relaxation, while being right next to a beautiful beach, ideal for walking. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to provide information or fulfill guests' wishes. They made me feel really comfortable and taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax in a pleasant atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.

It was the best accommodation that we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. We felt at home and enjoyed the amazing pools, the beach and the Safari. The service was great - they let us have our privacy at the pool but were always there when we wanted to order foods and drinks and even brought us complementary fresh coconut juice to enjoy in the pool. They also arranged both transfers for us. The staff and especially Mr. Jeewa were exceptionally nice. Everything was clean and we would definitely come back to this paradise. Thank you for everything!

The food was a little expensive compared to outside prices but still ok.

The location is wonderful, secluded by the ocean amid luxuriant flora, an oasis of peace. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs, whether preparing our delicious local meals or making accommodations to check in t our rooms early.
