The hosts were great, took care of us like a family during our stay. They even prepared food for us at a prior notice and loaded every meal with one or the other complimentary local delicacy The rooms were clean and tidy, surrounding pretty.

The view was wonderful. You can see from the terrace the Debarawewa lake with its wild life (water buffalos, lots of birds and sometimes crocodiles). The hosts were very nice and attentive to our needs. I also enjoyed the tasty food. The host also arranged the safari and I was picked up directly from the accommodation. I didn't have to worry about anything. The room was clean and had air conditioning.

Just a fabulous value for money choice near yala. Spotlessly clean and well kept Comfy beds Great food and attention and care from the staff. They organise whatever you need via WhatsApp, safari, dinner, pick ups etc Owner is just delightful. Lovely views Lovely seating area with binoculars to watch the birds on the lake. You can’t go wrong with the price and service here - don’t hesitate to book. A wonderful family guesthouse.

Beautiful views over the lakes from the verandah where meals are served. Very tranquil location only a short walk to town. Comfortable room. The food is good, no need to go anywhere else. The staff are friendly and helpful. The owner organised our safari to Bundala which was excellent with a very knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the day very much. The owner and the staff were friendly. The day was wonderful, nice and memorable . I would like to thank everyone who helped to make a great day in Tissamaharama.

The hotel is located next to a see where you can see from the veranda all kinds of animals. Since Yala was closed due to heavy rain, our host organized a private tuk tuk safari where we even saw elefants. Overall everybody was super helpful and our stay was very relaxing.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
