The family is amazing and the hotel is set opposite a stunning lake! They organized the safari very last minute and the host even dropped me off on a motorbike and got me onto the correct bus! Wish I could’ve stayed longer

What we liked? Absolutely everything. Now we understand all positive reviews. When we arrived owner and his family welcomed us with cold towels and refreshing coconut water. Room was clean and cleanliness over whole property as well. Can recommend homemade dinner at hotel, it was delicious. If you are traveling for multiple days as us, you can use their laundry service. Owner acts very professional, you can see high standards in almost every aspect from check-in, food serving, to check-out.

I can’t recommend more this hotel. The family is extremely helpful and kind. They were all the time asking me about my necessities and bringing me all the help I needed. I arranged the safari with them and it was amazing (I saw even a leopard). At this little house you feel like at home. Thanks so much for everything.

An exceptional welcome from the very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely room that lead on to the balcony with wonderful views of the lake. The setting of the hotel was beautiful and really peaceful. The hotel also organised our Yala safari, which was excellent. Just wish we had time spend a few days there

Our stay was amazing! The owners from the hotel are really kind. Once we arrive they offer us a “tour” by tuk tuk to visit Tissa, best decision ever. I recomend you to accept and pay it’s super worth it!!! They also provide us fruit for free, amazing room and they cooked us an incredible dinner. (Super recommended to eat dinner there in the hotel) We also took the Safari with them, price is good one and they prepare us breakfast and lunch to eat there! Their guide in the Safari, Nishshanka, was the best one!! He found us all the possible animals you can see in the Safari!! He is so kind and really knows all animals. Even it was the hard season to see, we saw leopard, lazy bear, elephants… he was amazing! Incredible experience

Great hospitality, delicious food, safari trip was awesome!

This place was perfect! We had booked a safari in Yala and then found this property to stay two nights while we were there. The room was immaculately clean, the hosts were so welcoming and lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. One of our favourite places to stay since being in Sri Lanka. The view is awesome.
