Crown Malapascua

It’s a great place to stay, modern clean interior, nice mattresses, white walls and bedsheets, plenty of space. Sunset view from the balcony, friendly staff, security. Had a great time!

Please, be aware that it is a small island and everything is delivered by boats. Bedsheets and towels are clean but may have some signs of usage. Also since it is located higher than other places, so be aware that it is not completely silent, you may hear roosters and basketball court nearby. At night it is silent. So everything is great, just some minor things.

Everything was fantastic! Couldn’t have been better! Jessa (Sai) is extremely helpful and accommodating. All the facilities are excellent. There not a thing I could ask for better. Thank you!

Close to a basketball court which make a lot of noise

-comfy beds -great sunset view

-many dark spots on every towel and bedding -shower was with tarnished metal and very metallic and drain smell giving salty water -the whole room and bathroom wasn‘t very clean -we had a very bad smell in the whole room that was coming from the drain in the bathroom on a daily base -we couldn’t close the bathroom door, there was always a 10 cm gap, so you should know each other quiet well :)) -every night there was a basketball game directly next to us which has a big and active cheering zone, always until 11:00:11:30 pm and the street was also very noisy

I will say that the Crown had the most comfortable beds and best linens of our entire trip to Southeast Asia. It does have a nice sunset view, but you can do better and have happy hour drinks by going to a restaurant along the beach. Someone from the hotel met us at the ferry and guided us to the hotel which was about a 5 minute walk. the AC was good and free drinking water was provided.

The hotel is right next to the town's basketball arena which is used nightly until well after 10pm. So if you are seeking quiet, this is not a good location. Also, there was a strong odor of sulphur in our room at all times. The lobby area of the hotel was at some time a bar, but no longer and it could be updated with some comfy lounging furniture to make it inviting, but at this point it is not. There is no food or drinks other than water available onsite.

Lovely views, easy access to beach and local market square. Room was great, very comfortable, big and lots of storage space with fridge. Nice balcony to sit and watch sunset.

Would be nice to see a little more TLC to the reception area, and surrounding grounds and broken balcony furniture repaired .

New, clean, large rooms, sunset facing balconies! small fridge in room, water refills, king size bed w nice pillows, AC, and staff are extremely kind. there is also laundry service which is a great perk!! short walk to the beach with a path right across the from the entrance, to the right of Dan’s Dive Shop (I only found this my last day and realized I was taking the ‘long’ way around 😄).

No complaints! There isn’t a kitchen or restaurant onsite, not a con - just good to know. Roosters, dogs, and 6a church will be heard from any hotel/hostel in this part of the island if you sleep w patio door open (there is a screen door ☺️).

Lovely view from the room, the rooms are extremely comfortable. Had excellent sleep every night. Located very conveniently to many dive shops in the area and close to the port. The owner was super friendly and accommodating! Great communication :)
