Tasteful, staff tried to be helpful

Couldn’t use the AC because it smelled like sink big time. So it was really hot and the beds and pillows weren’t really comfortable. There was water all over in the bathroom and bad smell as well

It wasn’t very clean. It was clear that the hotel was built a time ago…The taps had a lot of limescale and there was very little water pressure.

Staying with Crown was an absolutely amazing experience. The customer service was excellent, and the room was clean and inviting.

However, I did encounter two minor issues – the wifi was a bit slow, and the shower water had a hint of saltiness.

Overall, the property was ok. The rooms were quite nice - good size with confie beds and pillows. The filtered water and French press coffee was much appreciated. The communication via WhatsApp was super quick and very helpful. The manager helped us book our transportation from Cebu airport and back.

Unless you don’t mind wearing ear plugs to sleep, the location of the property is really bad. The hotel is next to a community center that hosted a series of holiday festivities that ran all day until midnight around Christmas. We arrived Christmas morning and had music thumping (the ear plugs didn’t help with the vibrations) until midnight through the night of the 27th. Then prayer and mass starts at 6 am… and the roosters crow throughout the night and day. While the festivities and church may be focused around the holidays, the roosters will crow regardless of the season. The manager comped us one night and tried to find another place for us to stay, but everything in our budget was booked for the week between Christmas and New Year’s.

The view was great and the staff were really helpful. Also, a very comfy bed!

Very clean room, good and quiet airconditioning, very friendly and helpful host. Located very close to the port and the market, where sou can get tasty seafood for a very affordable price.

small defects here and there, downstairs area could be improved.
