"Excellent hot tub lodge"

The Grand Suite is beautiful, comfortable and really large. It was so cosy and everything you need for a self catering break is provided. The staff we had contact with were lovely and the extra cost for luxury housecoats and 2 dogs was so reasonable. Definitely one of the best hot tub lodges I've ever stayed in.

"Amazing location, poor service and falsely advertised."

I liked the location and for a bigger party the lodge would have been better but i booked for the facilities i.e air hockey table and private hot tub.

How cold the lodge was the heating was terrible and only little electric heaters for warmth that when switched off the coldness returned. The hot tub is not private it overlooks the car park and is next to the cleaners cupboard and restuarant, although the restaurant was closed it didnt seem like we had much privacy. The reason for booking the bigger lodge was if the weather got too bad we at least would be able to use the private hot tub and the air hockey table. Hot tub not private and the air hockey table conveniently OOO a few days before we arrived and no one informed us. Lots of banging doors during the day whether it be the cleaners coming out of their cupboard or banging the other lodge doors next to us. There is no mention that the restaurant was closed. I had messaged the lodge before travelling regarding the roads in bad weather and no one bothered to reply to me. Happy to take my money and appear at my door demanding more money even though their services were not as described.

The cabin was excellent and felt luxurious. It had everything we needed and more. The surrounding walks were fab. The bedrooms were lovely and warm.

I didn't like how close the cabin was to others it didnt feel very private.
