The setting is beautiful. Rooms are fine enough I do like open plan living so much more spacious. Facilities were fine.

I do think the decor and sofas and the such like are very mismatched does give the vibe it's just old stuff from people's houses that they want rid of.

The lodge was beautiful along with the view. Loved having the hot tub and the property was very clean.

The only thing we would say is that we couldn’t open the back patio doors due to missionary bees all over the ground, also found they kept getting into the bedroom. The hot tub is at the front of the property and next to the restaurant/ car park, would be better with a bit more privacy.

The location was lovely, the staff were so friendly. Matthew the manager was so helpful when we called him out to heat up the hot tub at 9pm!. The restaurant was also lovely. The beds were comfortable.

The lodge was very warm and difficult to sleep in. Could have done with more fans. We couldn't keep the doors/windows open as there was a lot of wasps. It wasn't very private as it looked onto the car park, reception and restaurant.

Superb room but no facilities during our stay, bar and restaurant closed which was disappointing.

The lodge was amazing, didn't realise how big it was until we arrived. Spectacular views from the garden and hot tub. Loved it so much came home and booked to go back in October!

Could have had salt and pepper and hot tub towels would have been good
