Hotel & Spa Poco a Poco - Costa Rica

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Poco a poco. We had a hot tub in our room which we loved and the room was very clean with good facilities. We organised trips through the hotel which were very good quality. Unfortunately our transport did not turn up for one of our morning cloud forest tours which meant we missed it, however reception helped up to organise an alternative bus to the reserve.

Though breakfast was good food the service you got depended on what time you arrived. If you arrived after a rush you had to chase staff for hot drinks and spoons etc. This was frustrating given the price of the hotel, I would have expected better.

Loved the location as we wanted to visit the Monteverde area

Very comfortable. Only stayed two nights but room very comfortable. Used pool and hot tub one night which was nice after lots of walking. Good restaurants and town nearby

Rooms had a very fragrant air freshener or cleanser - we opened windows for cross breeze

The pool, the hot tub, the staff, everything was great!

It poured but they handled it so well and had. Restaurant on site and umbrellas etc.

Property was very nice and clean with pool, hot tub, short walking path, and restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful with planning trips and transportation. Hotel is located close to restaurants, shops, and supermarket. Breakfast was really good!

The room was small for family of 4 with two full sized beds and little space for suitcases. Bathroom had very few places to hang towels and wet clothes. Construction noise started at 7AM. Luckily we needed to be up early for activities.

Beautiful room and grounds. Close to Monte Verde and Santa Elena. Large hot tub, pool and bar where you can meet other guests. Delicious breakfast included.
