Another great stay, easy check in, clean tidy room with cute view of the lake, easy to let yourself in and out after closing friendly staff thank you

I never leave bad reviews but after two weeks the property has not bothered to respond to my complaint. The room was dirty. There shower tray was broken hidden by a rubber bath mat. The carpets were so dirty that I kept my shoes on. The smells from the kitchen vents were nauseating. The bathroom light and fan was on a sensor and randomly turned on in the night disturbing me further. Apparently the person who runs the rooms isn't on site and has avoided all contact from myself and booking.com.

Great for a much needed few days break from life.. I don't expect perfection as I travel with my dog so but this place is great for walking and lots of choice for food.

The stairs can be quite steep so if you struggle with stairs you might want to check them out first. And I had a single room for a few days where I could connect to the tv for all the streaming apps, but when I moved to the double it was just a bog standard tv with no wifi connection .

Clean bedrooms and fresh linen. Comfortable bed. Nice restaurant downstairs for dinner. Friendly staff. Dedicated free parking for guests (limited spaces). Tea, coffee, and cookies provided.

It was my second visit for work. Unfortunately, I stayed over a weekend this time, and I wouldn’t recommend it for Saturday nights. There was significant noise coming from downstairs once dinner ended and the party started. The subwoofer and bass were so loud that even earplugs didn’t help, the vibrations were intense. In my room, the wardrobe actually amplified the noise, making it even worse. The disturbance lasted from around 22:00 to about 01:00. If you can tolerate that time window, the stay is otherwise fine, but I’d suggest avoiding it on a Saturday night.

2nd booking here and extended further. Would recommend

Above a very noisy bar/disco that continued well into the night (Saturday). I half expected this though it was louder and later than expected.

This is in a superb location just by the lake. The parking makes it a good base, but can be a bit tight on occasions. Park up and walk and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed in the apartment. It could do with a bit of a refresh in places, but that doesn't detract from what's on offer. We extended our stay whilst there.
