Sherwood Arms Motel

I chose this motel because it was just over $100 for a night, they allowed dogs and it was only 4 miles away from Snow Valley resort. I read a review about this motel being dirty but i did not want to believe it or just thought maybe the motel had an off day. BUT I could not relax once I checked in because I saw that the kitchen table was not cleaned and had crumbs all over.. there were stains on the walls. It felt like walking into a 30 year old apartment that hasn’t been remodeled in the ghettos. There was a sticky substance on the bathroom floor, I had to wear my socks the entire time I was there. I COULDN’T RELAX BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS DIRTY, it felt very icky, they did not replace the old used sponge in the kitchen sink. The floors underneath the bed has not been vacuumed, i saw a toothpick and crumbs underneath the bed. The shower curtains were old and stained and there’s mold growing above the shower. I found things in the drawer leftover from previous guests. The kitchen sink would make noise after the bathroom sink is turned off. I couldn’t wait to leave and not come back ever again.

I want my money back and I’ll be calling the city on this place Monday, mold on the bathroom wall, the toilet leaks from the bottom, had to ask for clean sheets as they had hair and dirtiness, there was no Disney or netflix or good signal, had to share internet from my phone to the tv and use my own disney channel log in to be able to watch something, but the absolute worse besides how dirty it is, THE HEATER DOESNT WORK, we found out at 7:30 pm that it was not functioning and the clerk took 45 mins to get me a space heater, and kept saying “ I can reimburse you, instead of fixing this city shutdown of a stay I had, it was too late to leave but I want my money back and I want hotel stay somewhere else as my Sunday is now ruined, we got a cold because we were in snow weather inside the cabin. I mean it i want my money back and the city will know what’s going on here. This is USA not maharashtra! Clean up and. Offer USA like quality. I swear the city is getting a call Monday. This won’t fly in the states buddy!

Such a lovely place to stay!!

So this was one of the least expensive places available in Running Springs, because of this my expectations were low. Heater worked well, but many things like were poorly maintained. Shower Rod wouldn't stay up, dirty floors, missing toilet paper dispenser, no paper towels, worlds smallest trashcan, etc. Front desk person was kind but the place was a little run down.

This was a cute place. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was dirty.

Great value and very convenient

Sheets not clean when I arrived. I informed the front desk then left for a couple hours. When I got back, there were new clean sheets on the bed.

A convenient motel with charm and close to Snow Valley Resort. However, the studio had a coffee maker with no coffee supplies. There was a microwave but no cups, bowls or utensils to make coffee or anything else.

This is very good motel option for the area, very basic almost Spartan interior, nothing special and nothing is missing. Great for a Motel - especially considering the abundance of space - it's more of a cabin type of place. Loved outdoor area - wish they put up a couple of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy outside. Everything inside worked, the decor is modern and everything was clean but seems to be getting a little "tired" and in need for upgrades.
