Ka´ana Surf

After 4 days of fishing in Port San Jose the location was perfect to relax and enjoy the clean beach. The staff was very friendly

Not beachfront and thus relatively expensive.

Construction by the beach and lots of trash there. Not the hotels fault. Everything about Kaana Surf was perfect. People doing Construction should clean there area

Garden, pools and food

The was dark

I had one of the duplex rooms which is a room on the main floor facing the pool area. It was very nice with an outdoor bathroom and coconut shower. They have 2 pools which are beautiful and covered with sail shades so you can be in the pool at anytime and find shade. Very close to the beach but not directly on the beach.

Value not great considering I paid the same for a 5 star hotel in Antigua. Although the staff is very nice the quality of service did not match the price I paid. I realize that it is the most expensive time of the year. Also, very hard to lock patio doors which are the entrance to your room and my safe wasn’t working. I didn’t feel at any point that it was unsafe, though.

Great property. It is not adult-only per Expedia. Kids/families are welcome. The reception can organize activities for you to do. Food is fresh and delicious. Staff is very friendly and accommodating

es un hotel bonito y cómodo, pero hay varias construcciones alrededor y al frente actualmente. Las del frente le han quitado vista al mar a las habitaciones del 2º piso.
