The location could not be better. The restaurant on the first floor had a magnificent view over the harbour. The bed was comfortable. I liked the hand-made breakfast with fresh fruit and juices, and variations on scrambled eggs with toast. Ask for extra butter.

The WiFi worked only intermittently and was very slow, usually but not always too slow for Netflix. The room was not very large. There was no room for a table to work on.

We had a wonderful time staying at hotel Miconia. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. It is in a prime location right next to the pier and very convenient for day tours. Would highly recommend this place for the quality of service provided.

The Price. So expensive. Barely 3 star. Pool was not cleaned at all during our stay. Breakfast was so bad. The only thing I liked was the service.

My room had a hammock on a balcony. No ocean view but it was quite lovely. I slept like a baby.

A bunch of kids were playing extremely loud, they were screaming at the top of their lungs. I tried waiting them out to no avail. I figured their voices would have tired. They were resilient. Not the hotel’s fault. More like parents don’t teach children manners.

The hotel while little quirky is beautiful and the staff was top notch. We upgraded to the master suite and the view over the harbor each evening at sunset was will worth the price alone. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, great breakfast served each day at the time you specify. We brought in our catch of the day for dinner one night and the chef gave us 5 different preparations, truly an excellent meal. Starlink internet was a bit spotty but you aren’t going to Galápagos to work. We will be back to Galápagos and we will definitely stay at Miconia.
