lovely, rustic feel and very friendly, attentive staff, located in the malecón and very close to the port but still relaxed.

there were building works next door but that’s not the fault of the property

location was good (but that’s easy in a small town), big shower (with hot water eventually), free drinking water.

The place is a construction site. Many areas unfinished. No bathroom facilities in the foyer. uncomfortable furniture throughout. staff were unwelcoming. Pool and Jacuzzi freezing cold. Fridge in room had no adjustment knob so froze everything. Small bed. Ocean view blocked by rooftops. Poor Wi-Fi. (Other hotels/restaurants had Wi-Fi which reached our room, but the hotel one did not) “Gym” - one machine! So overpriced.
