The location is stunning and the restaurant was reasonable with a good selection of food. The breakfast was lovely. Staff were really helpful and had lots of local knowledge.

It was on a steep hill with quite a few steps to climb. There is no lift in the annex.

The room I had did not have a good view of the river leading into the sea, other rooms have a perfect view

The room was beautiful, enormous, comfortable bed, different seating options, a balcony with table & chairs and amazing views, plenty of storage, plenty of plug sockets, complimentary drinks were wonderful, good size fridge in room, bathroom was gorgeous, all very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

On this occasion the lift suffered a malfunction and was out of order, with using a crutch for mobility issues, this did make going up and down to the room very painful for me, but it couldn’t be helped!

The staff team were excellent in helpfulness and service. The rooms were absolutely the best, I could live there no problem. Food in evening was good as was breakfast choices. lovely setting. definitely recommend.
