The place is beautiful, Roy and his staff are fantastic, and the food they cook you is delicious.

Wonderful stay, quiet and peaceful, great hospitality

quiet rural setting

We are Belizean resident family who booked 2 deluxe rooms as we were traveling with food and a sick child. Owner not on site and replacement not trained to really help. Ended up with 1 deluxe with no hot water and broken microwave the other not a deluxe, no microwave and a uncomfortable twin with a decent full. The confusion and lack of expected amenities and no effort to remedy anything or at least aoplogize was atypical for belize hospitality.

Being located in the sanctuary means that we could easily take advantage of the tours in nature. Also, the set up of our cabana (Toucan) was good for our family. It was lovely to sit in our veranda and see and hear the birds, amphibians, and other wildlife. Took a short hike to see the howler monkeys, which was great. Not many crocodiles came out for the night canoe ride, but again the sounds and stars were amazing. Also Roy is super hospitable and a great cook, too.

Nice ,quiet cabin in the back country. Exceptional landscaping. Restaurant on site for breakfast/dinner. Cold beer, drinks in cooler available to take to your cabin. Screening on windows for bugs, or A/C if you prefer, but we enjoyed the cool jungle air. Our cabin had a hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. Deluxe cabin worth the extra cost

Love the natural sounds of the animals. Love seeing horses casually walking around. Staff was very friendly, and the food was amazing
