"We had several monkey encounters and that is what we came for. So we had a very good time."

Location was great for walking to the area where the Howler Monkeys were hanging out in the morning. Small local convenience store only 3 minutes away. Local chicken lunch only 3 minutes away.

There was some construction (new bathroom) going on right next to our bungalow while we there there.

Friendly staff

Wifi only in office and dining room Cold showers only, no warm water. No fans in the room, it did have AC but adjusting it was difficult. Only one meal provided, no options to select from...likely due to the lack of food availability in the area. This place needs these upgraded... and an outdoor pool would increase enjoyment for guests.

"Peaceful nature stay, great staff, quiet nature retreat."

Peaceful setting with the friendliest hosts/staff. Great local Belizean dishes served. Lots of options for day trips near by. Nice forest trails with lots of diversity.

Only a few things walking distance we were glad we had a rental car.

The cabin was the best I have stayed in so far in Belize. Roy was very friendly and helpful. Collected me from my hotel in Belize City as no bus on Sundays Close to the Howler Monkeys Food was good and also did my laundry which was ready the same day.
