Quality Cabins Monteverde

The cabin was beautiful and spacious. Lovely to be surrounded by trees whilst having easy access to nearby supermarkets, restaurants and laundry, being just off main road. Well equipped kitchen area, and very clean and modern. Communication for check in and arrival was excellent.

Parking was really tight, especially when cars parked in other cabin parking spaces, and access road very steep and rocky (we were glad we had a 4wd). We reported a concern about our shower, which had water pouring from behind the unit, and therefore felt really unsafe. This was not acknowledged or addressed by property owner, which was disappointing given excellent communication up to this point. Apart from the shower, the cabin was amazing.

We loved this spacious cabin in Monteverde, surrounded by trees and with a huge bed. Fresh eggs and cereal are left in the kitchen so you can serve yourself breakfast. The 👌 ne are just a few minutes drive from all the attractions.

Nothing.

The location was perfect for our stay in Monteverde. The staff met us at our treehouse for the check in. We loved the feeling of sleeping in the rain forest. Comfortable beds. The floors creak when you walk on them but that adds to the charm. We were a little chilly at night and there was a heating unit that took the chill off the evening. Our granddaughter loved the chair swing. The breakfast items were very appreciated.

There was no mirror in the upstairs bathroom.

Watching the birds from the balcony and staying right in the heart of the trees. The owner was really helpful arranging onward transport for us.

Great cross ventilation (no AC), remarkably few bugs, which we had expected in the rain forest. Conveniently close to shopping and restaurants and easy to get to the reserves. Management was attentive to the cabins - clearing leaves from the paths and installing safety lights. Comfortable beds.

There was some noise at night from the street.

Surprised to find complimentary coffee, juice,water, beer and eggs

Loads of space in the cabin, basic welcome pack for the kitchen with eggs, porridge, tea, milk, juice and beer stood out from many other properties we visited in CR. Supermarket and petrol station just around the corner. Close to Santa Elena which has a vibrant atmosphere in the evening. Low temperatures by CR standards was a shock to the system but accommodation was warm and cosy.

Parking was very tight and could be improved to give more manoeuvring space.
