Dirty underwear in the drawer left by people before us and the glass shower screen was disgusting, lots of grime along the bottom of the screen

Location nice. Clean.

Main bathroom smelled of urine when we first arrived. The beds were not particularly comfortable, the mattresses could do with being renewed. There was only one small wire waste paper basket in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom, needed proper kitchen bin and small bins in the bedrooms. No side tables in the lounge. Grill didn’t work well. With 6 people needed more than 1 teapot.

The onsight restaurant was excellent. Hot pool was lovely and a problem we had with it was solved very quickly by friendly helpful staff. Nice base to see Yorkshire.

We had no major concerns either with the sight or the Lodge

Always go to this park twice a year for the last 4-5 years and love it.

The lodge was in a very bad state of disrepair. No maintenance had been done. The central heating didn’t work, the grill didn’t work, carpet was loose which my elderly father in law tripped on, skirting boards were coming away, the seating area outside was unusable as it was green from the over hanging trees. Very disappointed. We have stayed I at this park numerous times and this was the first time we were unhappy. The park were fabulous and moved us into one of their own lodges (this one is a private owned lodge).

The Lodge was lovely, really big and spacious. Comfortable beds like home from home The Hot tub was an added bonus Park is lovely and quiet would definitely stay again
