Greenlands Hotel

A beautiful place to stay, very comfortable and staff very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is a little way out of Henley, but it is set in stunning grounds. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet in a beautiful room overlooking the garden and the river. It was a 4 km walk into Henley over the fields. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help, I would certainly stay again. As a solo traveller I felt incredibly safe.

The staff were great. The location is remote and there's not much around the hotel; it was a great stop on a cycling trip. The grounds of the hotel are very nice. Breakfast was very nice.

Both hotel and Booking.com v helpful when had family emergency. Hotel itself quite corporate... rooms are in new building (not the white one pictured). Mine was on first floor overlooking park.. wouldn't have liked ground floor courtyard one. Great setting in large park by river. Numerous friendly staff at breakfast.

Mattress far too soft.

Lovely big rooms, great breakfast in a great location over looking the Thames.

Wifi was poor at times and the room was a little on the warm side.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of food quality food Free bottles of water on request and free tea and coffee in the bar

Evening meal not fantastic, soup was bland, no butter for cheese & biscuits, main meal not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. You have to pay as you go, no settling up when leaving as in most hotels. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal, they couldn't take payment in the restaurant due to WiFi issues, several tries during our meal was disruptive and we ended up having to go to the bar to pay, we felt they didn't trust us.

The staff were very professional,friendly and extremely helpful. They answered all our questions and gave us some excellent recommendations with regards to the surrounding area to visit and things to do. The breakfast was amazing,with very attentive,hospitable staff. Excellent location,very tranquil place ,near the river.
