It was a beautiful place, newly refurbished and very clean.

The breakfast was good but would have liked some more vegetarian hot choices, like sausages, etc.

The hotel was very clean with comfortable bed set in a beautiful grounds.

No Wi-Fi was available and that is unacceptable in 2026. There was insufficient staff to cope with check-ins and while each staff member tried to respond to queries raised by each person checking-in, they just ignored guests who had travelled for hours and wanted to check-in or had a query. There is always a way to be attentive to guests while demonstrating respect for those in the queue, but neither staff did that on the day I checked in.
