Hotel Cordelia's

Location right on Playa Panteon is perfect with a great view from our room. Restaurant was okay, but a bit pricy (understandable for the location). Wifi was a little weak, but mostly reliable. Hot water available, air con was a bonus. Front staff very friendly and helpful.

A refrigerator and some dishes in the room would be nice to have so you don't have to eat out all the time. Our unit right by reception was pretty noisy early in the morning (phones, vehicles, people in the hallway and the parrot from downstairs screeching)but otherwise fairly quiet. I found the mattress a bit too firm for being a side sleeper.

Hard beds!

The location, right on the beach cannot be beat. I had a triple room upstairs with a seaview balcony so it was full of light, and the view was an enchantment. I booked a triple for myself alone as only they have seaview, and the price difference is not very high. Out of the 3 beds, 1 was really comfy which was perfect but had there been 2 more people...

Only 1 socket in a triple room! The restaurant, although the best of the 5 that are on the beach, is nothing to write home about and some of the waiting staff makes you feel like you're bothering them. It is the only one open in the evening and although it is not far to walk to the village where there are better options, the road can be dangerous for pedestrians after nightfall. Lastly, a fridge where we could keep beverages cool would not have been luxury in the such a hot weather, as well as a kettle to make our own coffee or tea.

The location is excellent right on the beach. The staff worked very hard to make our stay comfortable. They quickly accommodated any of our needs during the week we were staying there. There has also been some nice updating of the rooms and bathrooms since we last visited in 2019.

The restaurant does not accept credit cards which was inconvenient for our larger group.

Hotel Cordelia’s is a wonderful little hotel, right in the bay. The location is a rustic town in southern Mexico. The staff are super helpful and the management were supportive our group. This was our third time to the hotel and we feel very happy with our experience. The views are amazing. The rooftop is a delight. There was some heavy rains while we were here and the hotel was quick to mop up and make the stairs safe. The rooms are charming and the 3 bedrooms are very spacious! The staff are kind and very helpful!
