Alta's Rustler Lodge

We enjoyed a seamless ski vacation at The Rustler in Alta Utah once again. While we didn’t have as much snow as we usually get, every facet of our trip was enjoyable and easy. We love that The Rustler has everything you need - skiing right out the back door, convenient lockers and a great ski shop, wonderful dining, a relaxed atmosphere, great spa and most importantly, an incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Look forward to returning next year

Going to the Rustler is like going home- the staff, the amenities, the clientele the Rustler attracts....people are interested in family, friends, and skiing- not pretenses. It is simply extremely authentic and open- with great friend and drink!:-)

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending four amazing nights at the Rustler Lodge in January. From the moment we arrived to our ride down the canyon we were surrounded by an amazing team who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our room was spacious and perfect for all of the gear that comes along with a ski trip. Having a ski locker right next to the slopes was a special treat. Make time for the hot tub and heated pool before dinner. The view is amazing! The food was over the top! I would recommend taking a peak at the menu ahead of your visit to plan your eating experiences since the menu rotates nightly. Take your time and savor each course. The dining room team knows the menu and wine list so trust their recommendations. Be sure to make time for a drink at the bar when it isn't too busy so you can meet John and hear a story or two from his many, many years at the Rustler. What a treat! If you aren't sure...MAKE THE RESERVATION! You will not be disappointed. And if you are really lucky the snow gods will bless you with fresh snow.

We love staying at the Rustler. It is a great environment and a real treat to be able take a family ski vacation here. The food is great and the accommodations are very comfortable and clean. The young staff is simply fun to be around and they are attentive and professional.

We love the Rustler Lodge as it creates the perfect Alta experience: friendly staff and returning guests make for a welcoming stay, the facilities are the best on the mountain (gym, hot tub, heated pool and spa) and the food is scrumptious. Love this place!

This was a return visit to Rustler, which we love ... the warmth of the staff, the great food, the relaxing atmosphere, and the access to great skiing... what could be better. It's our "happy place" for sure. Our kids are now grown-up, but they love returning to the lodge and to Alta... and now their spouses are part of the experience.

This is the best Lodge at the best Ski Mountain. But don’t tell anyone else, please. The staff is wonderful and the location is amazing.

The Rustler staff is beyond EXCEPTIONAL! We had a large family wedding group of “needy” guests for the weekend and literally our every request was handled easily, no delays! From the front desk staff to the wait staff, everyone was friendly, smiling, upbeat and accommodating! The food was excellent, the venues perfectly appointed and the outdoor wedding set-up was simply stunning! I was first at The Rustler over 40 years ago; we loved it then and they still just keep providing a high quality mountain inn experience!

We visited there for a weekend to attend a special event (wedding). The accommodations, service, and food were top rate.

Employees over top with politeness.so very helpful friendly made good eye contact . Having entire facility for wedding was the best plan. Food served warm and attractive. Staff didn’t just give directions they took us down hallways and escorted us to elevators. I felt very special.weekend of happiness
