Хижа Ловна в Рила

It was lovely. Alone in the mountains only with the company of Boris and a dog. Peaceful and interesting. Especially the communication with Boris. I can only recommend it. Great place to start hiking for the 7 lakes.

Nothing really. It's what I expected. It's more than 100 years old hut in the forest. Really cool

We've already stayed at lovna Hut five years ago and came back now. Same great experience. Boris is such a nice host providing yummy dinner and breakfast. He's truly a unique guy and a character. It was so much fun drinking with him and hearing stories from his life. It is very eco friendly with most of the power coming from hydro power. And the location and setting is simply magical - rustic hut in the middle of a forest, rivers nearby and the Rila mountain above you.

It's very basic facilities, but you can see that from the photos and expect it from such a remote location in the forest. But it's a small sacrifice for such a great experience

Highly recommend it is a beautiful location. The staff, Boris was extremely kind and accommodating during our stay. The scenery and location reminded me of the time I was young and going to my grandma’s village house. A very authentic childhood experience.

I can't express how happy I am. Alina and Nikolai were extremely hospitable and friendly. We had a very nice time in the lodge. The location is beautiful. Right in the middle of nature, perfect place to have a relaxing getaway. Hiking trails are very accessible from there. I would totally come back.

The hut is located well and is easy to find. It is cute, primitive and has a nice stream nearby.

They claimed their booking.com account is set up incorrectly and that we must pay more. They made it feel very awkward and uncomfortable for us like we had robbed them or something. They didn't accept card so we made a new booking to do the transaction but then they never refunded the original booking as agreed. They started swearing and insulting me via message after I gave them 3 weeks to complete the refund.

Perfect location within nature. We get the drinking water from a spring outside the cabin. It's a good base for the Rila lakes hike. The food served is really good and ingredients fresh from the area. The meatballs and fish were very delicious. Keep in mind that this is a basic accommodation, nothing fancy. The rooms are run down but did the job, if you just need a place to sleep. They provide clean sheets. Nevertheless, the vibe is great and it attracts good travelers.
