Toorongo Valley Estate

It was spacious and the location was stunning.

There was only a small amount of toilet paper and the floors were pretty dirty all our socks went black. Everything else was cleaned well.

The view was amazing!

Lack of cleanliness and some repairs to do

For what you pay you don't get much. It's an old house with a thrown together interior. It took about 15 minutes to fill the sink with hot water, the shower wasn't hot, and the bath hot water didn't work. The owner came to try to fix it but was unsuccessful so didn't get to have a bath which was one of the main draws of the property. Walls are very thin and you can hear every step and conversation of the people staying in the room next to yours. The kitchen had a few staples (salt, pepper) but didn't have a lot of little things like oil, strainers etc which you would expect from a place that costs this much. Half of the windows don't have blinds so you're up with the sunrise. Very little insulation so it gets very cold but there are plenty of heating options supplied.
