Location is amazing, facilities were good and the nature around property is excellent.

The fire heater wasn’t working

Where do u start.. First in arrival, wet damp musty smell entering the room, cold damp feeling as it was cold outside and took us a day sline to warm the place up. Tikes on the floor froze ur feet regardless of having socks on. The kitchen was not clean nor was the oven. The toast was old and needed replaced and dirty. The carpet was stained and dirty and had stained imbedded foot prints in the carpet and god knows what else on it. Felt wet under foot. The toilet wasnt cleaned properly. Gas heater only heating as the unit in the wall didnt seem to work. Kitchen hot water was not hot and was hard to maintain washing our own dishes...this us not what i paid for nor expected...disappointing to say the least.

We stayed at the River View property with our good friends, surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and bird life. The property had everything we needed, with beautiful furnishings and Frank the owner was so welcoming. He had a wonderful fire warming this gorgeous winter retreat on our arrival. We certainly felt very spoilt and connected to nature. Thank you Frank.

Location & view were superb. The property grounds were wonderful to explore & very well maintained.

Location was quiet and beautiful. The owner went above and beyond to upgrade our accommodation as our gas heater in our chalet was not working.

The larger chalet was a bit too big and cold for a couple and the bedroom was a long way from the bathroom.
