Toorongo Valley Estate

The surroundings were beautiful. The river and natural beauty were breathtaking. The view out the windows was amazing.

The chalet was quite rustic and looked quite tired. It didn’t match the photos online. The pillows were awful. Plug didn’t fit sink. BBQ too small to cook our dinner. Shower door needs a flap to stop water leaking. The place needs a good update.

We stayed in Manna Gum and the location is superb. Close to all the attractions in the area and the property itself is quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature and so relaxing. Being on the Tooronga River was the highlight of our stay. Loved the self check in and easy to follow directions from the owner. The bed was super comfortable.

There were a few things with our accommodation that need fixing to make a good stay great and which I would expect at this price point. - there is a 10cm gap between the shower door and shower wall, which lets water out and causes a slipping hazard. - we had to clean dirt and dust out of the spa before we could use it. Spent 30 minutes on this. - the world's lowest couch needs replacing. Sitting on the couch to watch a couple of our must see TV shows was extremely uncomfortable because the couch is so low to the floor. - there was no lightbulb in one of the bedside lamps. - no cover on the outdoor BBQ so it was dirty and rusty. We cooked inside instead but the overhead fan extractor isn't connected to an outside flu so the room filled up with smoke.
