Nothing because we were forcibly shifted to a different place

One line summary: THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH STAYING AT ALL AND THE BIGGEST REASON FOR IT IS THE MANAGER/OWNER DHANU RAJ The owner/manager promises a lot of things in the beginning, makes us pay advance money citing he needs it for confirmation. We got a call early in the morning on the day of stay, the manager said he has booked us a bigger room in the adjacent cottage since "all rooms in his cottage are full". This is despite us booking the stay 2-3 weeks in advance. When we reached the place, we saw it's a different cottage altogether and we were asked to contact the owner/manager of that cottage (High Field Holidays to be precise). After we took the room, Dhanu Raj called us saying we will have to pay additional money because we got a bigger room (for which we never even asked but we're forced to take). After multiple arguments he started giving emotional arguments that will we want to make him pay from his pocket, he has his wife's surgery next morning and promised that he ensure we get a very good breakfast. The next day we got the breakfast late by almost an hour, there was nothing special or different (we never asked for it to be special in the first place, again being forced to accept it). The only positive of this stay were the 2 ladies who were serving breakfast for everyone. They were attending to everyone, we're very cordial and ensured everyone get what they want, but as they were old it was hard for them to manage everything on time. Dhanu Raj promises a lot of things, under delivers, and then gives excuses to make him look the victim. Now that I see all the comments, he does the same in the comments as well wherever there are bad reviews. Instead of accepting faults he makes the guests look guilty.

Location is good

Staff were not available most of the time and room was not clean.. I got some weird smell..also service was not upto the mark.
