Tavan Dragon House

Die Familie war super lieb! Das Haus wirkte sehr sauber und ordentlich. Gleiches gilt für die Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer. Die Zimmer hatten einen Balkon und die Terrasse unten war groß und eignete sich zum sitzen. Das Restaurant war hinter dem Gästehaus und ebenfalls sehr gut! Nicht von dem längeren negativen Teil unten täuschen lassen, das sind alles eher Kleinigkeiten. Ich würde hier trotzdem gerne wieder schlafen und gebe 9/10.

Das Zimmer war etwas zu klein, das hat allerdings der Balkon wieder gut gemacht. Problem ist dann leider das man kaum Stauraum hat. Mit ein paar Haken mehr an der Wand oder eine eine an der Wand angebrachte Kleiderstange wäre das Problem etwas behoben. Wir waren Ende August zur Reisernte da und abends werden viele Feuer gezündet und der Rauch bleibt im Tal hängen. Leider waren die Zimmer aber über den Tag sehr warm geworden und es gab keine AC oder einen Ventilator, also mussten wir die rauchige Luft rein lassen um den Raum zu kühlen. Die Wände sind etwas dünn und hellhörig. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits etwa 15-20 min zum Dorf den Berg runter. Man muss sich also genau überlegen was man vorhat und ob man nochmal zurück muss, denn es ist recht steil und Schweißtreibend.

Expérience incroyable chez l’habitant. La famille est gentille, accueillante, attentive aux enfants. La terrasse avec la vue sur les rizières est très agréable. Les repas le soir étaient les meilleurs que nous ayons mangé depuis le début de notre voyage. Ce fut un séjour magnifique…

The couple that owns the home stay are amazing! I fell sick while I was there and they were so kind and helpful. The only downfall I have is the lack of transportation to the home stay. Grab and taxis won’t take you to the location and will only drop you about a 10 min walk away. The owners will help you with driving into town and pick up but it can be pricey going back and forth.

Nice view, many windows, wood everywhere, cute dog, warm bed, clean shared bathroom (two bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs) and big common area downstairs. The host and their family are so friendly although we communicated mostly with google translate. She is also a great cook and we rented a motorbike.

The wood is beautiful but it’s not soundproof so if a lot of rowdy guests stay at the same time you can hear them but mostly we were the only guests.

A lovely home and family, with cosy rooms and modern, clean bathrooms. The bed was v comfy and they have heated blankets for chilly nights. We loved our stay and we were looked after so well!

Nothing! If you’re looking for something close to Sapa however, this may not be for you, it’s in a little town called Ta Van and quite far up the hill, about a 30 min drive to Sapa. However, this didn’t bother us.

This was our second time staying at Dragon House. It is amazing. The property is wonderful. Clean, spacious, and the family is welcoming. It is way worth the price. I highly recommend it.

This was the best accomodation we have had in Vietnam so far! The family was so nice and we had a delicious dinner with them both nights. Everything was new and very clean and the shower had great water pressure. Banana pancakes for breakfast were the best! We also were lucky to try some of their homemade plum wine which was yum! Couldn’t recommend more 😊
