"A clean and warm homestay with the best facilities!"

The bed had an electric blanket to keep me warm all night long despite the freezing cold December weather in Ta Van, and looking out the big window from my warm bed every morning felt wonderful. The whole building seems very new and kept super clean.

Most places in Vietnam charge extra 2-3% for credit card payments, but this place charged 15%, so I just ended up paying in cash. My room's window view was completely obstructed by the tree branches, so there was no view (although there would've been none during my stay, anyway, as it was so foggy). If the view is what you're booking the place for, make sure you book a different room or a place!

"Exceptional"

Honestly the building is beautiful, and the location is even better. Really friendly people. A perfect place to rest between hiking in the valley. Our room had a balcony overlooking the rice terraces and mountains.

"Amazing place, amazing people, amazing scenery."

We loved everything about this property! If you are looking for beautiful scenery away from the Sapa action, Ta Van is a wonderful place and Tavan Dragon House is an amazing Homestay! Our host was so friendly, helpful and generous. Her food was amazing! We felt welcome into her Homestay immediately. She also found us an amazing guide for an exceptional trek into the mountain and the beautiful rice fields. I cannot recommend this Homestay enough!

Heartwarming and welcoming family, super sweet and took care of us well. We were genuinely sad to leave this place! Lovely new yet still authentic house, including comfortable bedding. Along with the soothing sound of a stream, it has amazing views throughout that you can look at all day. The home-cooked dinners were incredible. Lots of trekking options in the Ta Van area, some good restaurants and convenience shops within walking distance.

very friendly and helpful family. felt very included and well looked after on my stay, The food was great and super tasty. Really enjoyed the family dinner. Loved my stay here would recommend highly!
