The environment, the drive to it. Beautiful road with many pits. The location is beautiful. The owner is extremely friendly. He made everything you see himself and you can see that. It's all quite sober but okay. Been to the Thermenbad Yoko Thermalis for 1 night really recommended.

Cooking had to be outside on a dated cooking set cooking set such as pots and pans had to be cleaned first. Further for these 2 days prime

Zimmer relativ klein für 3 Personen

The host, Francisco, was very friendly, welcoming, patient, and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and well kept - the flora, swimming pool, checkers game tables, and outdoor kitchen/dinette. The room was neat and quaint. Very quiet except for the animal and bird sounds. Francisco helped me find my way in the dark, booked a dinner reservation for me just 2km down the road, and was fun to converse with in general. It was nice also to meet and briefly speak with staff G. and daughter L. Breakfast (by request, and $10 extra) prepared by G. and consumed in lovely outdoor dinette. Proximity to Rincon de la Vieja National Park was also nice. We hiked the Santa Maria sector trail and saw no one except for a gang of white faced capuchin monkeys.

A little more dog barking than I'd care for in the night, but that may be a necessary aspect of being out of town, in the country.

Pochote Lodge has lovely gardens and a great pool to cool off in. The communal kitchen was very complete, and the views everywhere were delightful. There were plenty of trails for exploring and looking for birds. We came by bus, and Fransisco, the manager, was extremely helpful with transportation to the National Park and the airport, and information on trails we could use.

Such a quite and oleasent place to stay and disconnect
