the balcony from my room had a wonderful view of the cove. I could hear the surf all night -so restful! The breakfast is made to order and is excellent.

It would be nice if the hotel had some portable chairs to take to the beach. Beach towels were provided.

the location and views and rooms are beautiful.

the breakfast staff wasn't very nice or welcoming, we did not know breakfast was free because we were not told when we checked in. the food could have been better.

I stayed at Casa La Ola for two weeks and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were absolutely lovely and helped me change rooms a couple of times, due to noise and another issue that came up. I would recommend the rooms in the middle of each of the rows/floors, as the two rooms on the far left of the first floor (if you're facing the ocean), have a tree that blocks the view of the ocean a bit and on the rooms on the far right are closer to the road, which can be noisy. The rooms were very clean and beautifully presented and the hotel feels very safe and secure and is a very short easy walk from the beach and the main strip of shops and restaurants. I would absolutely recommend staying here, despite it being a bit pricier than some other places.

The wifi in the rooms was a bit weak at times, it was fine the cafe though. Otherwise, everything was very good.

It was Ok but there was no real buzz to it. I've definitely stayed in friendlier places

absolutely stunning view of the bay and perched on the side of the hill. Very quiet and relaxing vacation exactly what we were wanting. After being in Puerto, Escondido and Sibley day this was by far the more relaxing part of our vacation!
