Mulu Benarat Lodge

6 of us stayed 4 nights here. Free airport transfers are arranged by the property. The environment of the Benarat Lodge is nice. The air-cond is functioning well throughout the day and night. All staff were very helpful and nice. Anil is extremely friendly and flexible. He will arrange the transport for us to National Park (RM5) per way. He even allowed when we asked for a change for the breakfast on 3rd day from simple bread to fried mee. WIFI was provided when asked but not stable.

No water heater in the bathroom. Feel cold especially taken shower during the night. Found few very small bugs on the bed (linen).

Staff were extremely helpful and flexible. Helps arrange transports to the park and back for the guests. Although there was a notice mentioning that electricity will only be available at certain times of the day, this did not seem to be the case as the air-conditioning was on throughout the night.

Food at their restaurant was mostly out of stock; out of the already small menu, only 3 items were available.

Staff are so friendly and helpful - they will transfer you around the park for your activities. The rooms are basic but ok and air conditioning works well. Nice scenery around the accommodation and the pool is clean.

A lot of bugs in the room. WiFi kept not working and 4G in the area is poor.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice little pool. The meals were pretty good, lunch and dinner simple but tasty, although breakfast could improve. Great advice on where and how to best use your time at the national park

Was perfect, close to the National park and the staff are happy to shuttle you to and from the National park, Anil is extremely friendly and helpful, the room was good for the price paid.

Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).

Nothing

I liked how friendly and informative the operational manager was. He helped us get the most of our visit to Mulu. Arranging an achievable program. The driver was very friendly and funny.

The only issue was regarding hot water. Operational Manager informed us that it wasn't working. Bathing in cold water after a long day wasnt very pleasing.

Aircon is cool. Room size is big.

Shower water is not enough warm. There are ants on bed sheet and a frog in the toilet.
