A place you feel “at home”. Comfortable, clean, almost luxury. Stunning view at the lake and hosts that took care of us in a spoiling way.

Very friendly welcome, made me feel at home. Amazing room with dual aspect to look at the stars or the lake from in bed. Don’t waiting about anything, even when I had to get a bus at 530am they boated me to the dock at 4.30am. Tours can pick you up here. Nothing was too much for them.

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

For me and my friends were a new experience, never we been in a place like this. It was a great experience for us, Mama Lea and Papa Mario are amazing persons and hostes . We are explorers people, and We were so happy to find this beautiful lodge in the middle of Titicaca Lake.

It was just as advertised. A wonderful tranquil location for those liking for peace and quiet and visiting the friendly hosts Mama Lea and Papa Mario. It was a great value and the meals were outstanding

There is no option to pay for anything with credit card when you are out there. Make sure to bring enough cash for room, meals and any tours

It was a very lovely stay at this home stay. Owners are very nice couple who took a good care of our group. They picked us up, prepared breakfast and let us rest after the long journey. Overall the stay was so comfortable and nice.

Very calming and relaxing lake, homemade meals were super delicious with big portions, fantastic day and night view.

Lea and Mario were so kind. There was a language barrier as we don’t speak Spanish fluently but we still felt so welcomed and learnt so much as we did a tour with Mario. He made every effort to show us the area and demonstrate their traditions.

Loved everything about this place! While it is rustic and it gets really cold at night, the hosts were available for all our needs (late dinner, hot water bottles in bed, etc.) and they were so great with the kids! Our kids also loved staying on the small island. Would definitely recommend this place!! Thanks for the great experience!

While we loved everything, make sure you have enough money because they only accept cash and things can add up quickly (dinners/lunches, tours, boat pick up and drop off).
