The Temple II, Mindo

Hello Unfortunately, I did not have a good stay at this place at all. All the photos and information were lies. At the beginning of my arrival, I was faced with a closed door to the residence. There was not even a bell to announce that I was at the door. After a phone call and a few minutes of waiting, a lady who did not know a single word of English (yes or no) opened the garden entrance door remotely with a remote control without coming to the door and informing me. I was driving into the garden when the door suddenly started to close and because it did not have an eye sensor, my car got stuck between the inside and outside of the garden, between two doors, and there was a lot of damage to both sides of the door and the right fender of the car. I showed it to the lady right away. Instead of apologizing, she said that the door had closed itself. The damage was more than 2000 euros. We entered the building at 11:35. The lady first asked us for documents and money and then started preparing the room, changing the sheets, which took about 10 minutes to prepare the room. According to the reservation, a room with two single beds and a double bed was supposed to be given to me and my family of 4, but I was given a room with a double bed and a single bed + a room with a single bed, meaning my family was divided into two parts, three and one. There was a lot of hair on the pillows, which showed that it had not been changed for a long time. Nothing was clean and I am very upset about this treatment and the place I was given. I also complain to Booking.com why they put false information and such an inappropriate place on their site. After this, I will no longer trust Booking.com and I will also check other reservation sites. The reservation states that the room has a coffee maker and... but the room was empty and did not even have a glass to drink water, a place to hang clothes, and a paper towel. All the photos and information given were lies and the room was dirty, lacking

Peaceful location and a very comfortable place to stay. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Super hot shower in a big bathroom, and lots of storage. Daisy was very friendly and made a delicious breakfast each morning. Good laundry service, too.

Fabulous location, a pleasant walk from the town centre. Huge, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. A quiet, peaceful place to wind down and relax. Lovely staff, too. I'd definitely stay here again.

The Temple 2 is I believe the best stay we have had since start travelling. We were greeted by the owner, Pao with a lovely chat and coffee before moving to our room. The room was very spacious with a very comfy bed, panoramic windows. The thing we most liked of our room was the bathroom which had big windows all around and in the shower with fantastic views of the cloud forest while maintaining privacy. The kitchen was very well made, elegant and free to use for cooking. Also the breakfast was enough to fill you up and served by Daisy and Marisol, two sweet ladies that took care of our stay so well and made the experience authentic. Temple 2 is the perfect choice for people who search tranquillity, natural beauty and comfortable stay in Mindo. We loved everything.

This place is very special if you like nature you will love it here.I saw humming birds toucans loads of other birds.The staff are great very helpful breakfast is good. It's a 10 minute stroll into town .Cannot recommend this place enough.

Wood construction is pretty creaky.

Its a nice and quiet place, of course depend on the other guests. I did not see that many birds, but may be I was just in the wrong season there. The place is a bit outside of town, but its in a walkable distance, The Management and the stuff will always help you!
