Sophienhof Lodge

The lodge itself is nice, there are no real complaints, friendly staff, animals in a nearby waterhole, good dinner and breakfast as well as spacy room.

While the property was ok, it didn't match other lodges in the same price category during our Namibia stay. There are no real complaints, you certainly will not feel bad at this lodge. However, most of the other lodges in this price category were outstanding and really special, even ones for half the price sometimes felt more unique. It's certainly ok to stay here but the value for money is not very good. Therefore we would in the future prefer other options.

The accommodation and the staff were outstanding. We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us. If back to Namibia I would definitely book a longer stay!!

This is a fantastic place. Gezelles are grazing in the garden around the bongalows. There is a waterhole where the animals come every night to drink. The staff is extremely helpful and the room was very nice. The game drive is worth trying.

Very friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Always aiming to provide the best possible service. Beautiful surroundings, on a farm that is very ecologically friendly and well managed. The owners provide a family like atmosphere and take a lot of time to explain things about farming in Namibia, wildlife and history.

It was an absolute pleasure, no complaints.
