Treehouse Tulum H2Ojos

Fabulous experience. The location was not at all remote, but made us feel like we were in the heart of the jungle, close to many of the best cenotes. Potable water from the tap was a huge bonus, and the four-legged super friendly hostess was a treat.

Le dépaysement, l'emplacement au calme dans la nature. La cabane est très chouette et bien équipée. Julian et son fils sont très accueillants et aux petits soins . C'était superbe malgré la grosse chaleur

This place is an amazing treehouse near to some beautiful cenotes and away from the busy town so perfect to unwind and relax. Great if you want to spot wildlife from the observation tower and be in nature. The hosts couldn’t be more attentive - they will answer any questions and helping to book any activities you would like.

Lo que más nos agradó fue el entorno, queda al lado del cenote dos ojos. Se ven aves y es muy tranquilo en general.

L'environnement très sympa qui permet de déconnecter, grand logement avec de quoi cuisiner, même avec quelques fournitures (huile, essuie tout...). Proximité avec les cenotes. Et le chat 😁 Le prêt de jumelles, les informations sur les oiseaux par le propriétaire et son aide si besoin de réserver une activité. Le ventilateur portable avec batterie permet bien de compenser la chaleur malgré le manque de climatisation. Propre

Le gros moins c'est le manque d'isolation phonique entre les logements, nous entendions tout ce qui se passait chez les voisins du dessus. Également les voisins sont obligés de passer sur notre terrasse pour aller chez eux. Douche froide mais avec la chaleur ça ne nous a pas gênés.

L’emplacement est super, au milieu de la jungle, à côté d’un cenote renommé, surtout pour faire de la plongée.

La douche qui ne fonctionne qu’à sa guise (pression et eau chaude partie en vacances), l’insonorisation inexistante (on a dormi avec les ronflements du voisin) et la chaleur, largement renforcée par la bâche sur le toit présente pour minimiser les fuites d’eau quand il pleut. Mais pas d’inquiétude, il y a aussi des tapis absorbants dans le salon et le propriétaire pus indique où mettre les valises pour qu’elles ne prennent pas l’eau.

The treehouse was a marvel to look at with all the beautiful wood design. The sunrise/sunset views and bird watching from the observatory were incredible, as well as the peaceful nature sounds while swinging in the hammock up there. The host was very communicative and shared lots of stories about the cenotes in the area, the wildlife and insects, and was a patient driver with our excursion into Tulum. We would come back again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and a quiet escape from society.

We wish the restaurant next door was open later for supper, but that was out of the host's control and there is a little tienda store where you can get ingredients to make good meals at the treehouse. The kitchen amenities were high quality and easy to make any kind of meal. If we needed anything extra, the host was happy to assist where he could. We also struggled with the heat at night, but if you take a cold shower before bed it helps. Also wish we brought stronger bug spray to prevent all the bites, again not the host's fault - we know better for next time!

We loved staying here as a family with a 6 year old and 4 yr old twins. It was a bit of adventure in the jungle for us! We had 2 nights here and spent one whole day just over the road at the Dos Ojos cenote. You can easily spend the whole day here and pop back for lunch. The host was fantastic, he gave us a tortilla making set and showed my girls how to make them. You are 3km from the main road on a quiet track - both me and my husband used the opportunity to go a cool-ish run in the morning. A stay in the jungle but close to Tulum.

If you wanted to go out for dinner, you'd have to drive as the restaurant next door closes at 4.30pm. We cooked in every evening as the amenities were good. Also, note there is no AC, there are some good fans but worth noting!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in der Natur, großartiger Aussichtsturm, gut ausgestattet Küche und sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Eigentümer. In der direkten Nähe befindet sich ein gutes Restaurant.
