The property was beautiful, and as Lorenso said you get what you pay. Lorenso is such a sweet heart and he makes sure that you feel comfortable during the whole stay. I had a very nice time.

An amazing location with a sociable owner. The place has a very family-style vibe.

My mosquito net had holes. Most nights it was fine, but one night the mosquitos were keeping me up.

Lorenso Cottage Is the best place on this amazing island. Just a 20-minute walk from the port, the accommodation is in front of the best coral reef on the entire island. If you're not interested in luxurious accommodations, this is the place for you. The prices are incredibly fair, the food is good, and Lorenso's friendliness will remain in your heart.

Nous avons adoré Lorenzo et l’emplacement de son homestay, ainsi que la cuisine de Achey. Ils nous ont acceuilli comme des membres de leurs famille. Toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Nous avons passé de fabuleux moments avec ses amis et sa famille toujours en musique et en chanson. Le snorkeling et les tombants juste en face du logement étaient incroyables.

Il pourrait avoir un effort de fait sur la literie, les moustiquaires et la salle d’eau .. mais nous avions choisi au moins chers…le mode roots ..

If you don’t mind basic this is the place because the owner is extremely friendly the good he cooks is amazing and the location can’t be beat

Great location, about 30 mins walk from the harbor, if you go further (towards north) on the road, you can access nice beaches. The view on the mangrove is really nice and snorkeling spot is directly accessible on the property. You will create memories and talk about it for days ! Even for years maybe !

It's never a pleasure to leave a bad comment but we think we should tell people about our experience there. We were 3 adults, staying in the budget room for 3 nights, which was in total 600 000 Rp/night full board. I have been living in Indonesia for about 2 years and traveled a lot around, on a budget, even before living here. The minimum you can expect in Indonesia (even for less than 100,000 Rp/person/night) is clean sheets, a comfortable mattress and good meals. We didn't get any of these things here! And the owner was well aware of this. We have seen a lot of comments saying accommodation is "basic" which is very fine for us. Unfortunately there is a difference between basic and bad. This was just bad. We had one 1 person "mosquito net" (full of holes and very very dirty) for the double bed and the one person bed didn't had one. The sheets were very dirty and full of dust. The mattress (you can't even call it a mattress anymore) was so worn out that you are sleeping on the bed base. We even found a wasp nest in the bed base. The food is really basic, lacking proteins and quantities. After going hungry the first night and the following breakfast and lunch, we had to double our meals by going to restaurants after each meal. On our last day, we gave up and just went to the restaurant to eat properly. There was always something and always an excuse about everything. (even the smallest stuff as "available coffee and hot water" was not ok! we had to request it, the owner "forgot to go to buy some" and brought back just a very small pack, not even enough to make coffee for all the guests. We had to request multiple times for drinking water as the gallon is not replaced when empty, ... ). It seems as though everything has been neglected and left to decay. Basic stuff could be done to improve the place but it doesn't seems that the owner is willing to do so, and that the motivation is still here.

Lorenso fue el mejor en todo momento y para todo. Te ayuda en todo y te recomienda los mejores sitios. En el mismo lugar puedes encontrar el mejor snorkel de la isla. Lorenso se preocupa de que tengas la mejor experiencia y todo te sea fácil, tanto en como llegar a la isla y una vez estás allí, incluso si quieres seguir viajando por sulawesi te ayuda a conseguir los mejores contactos para moverte y que todo sea fácil. Sin lugar a duda, si tuviera que volver, elegiría el mismo sitio!

Lorenso is a great person with good and funny stories. The reef at his place is one of the best I have seen.
