Shower door not closing properly resulting in water on the floor No room service- no clean towels or top up of milk, coffee, tea for 2 night stay Very old furniture- severely dated. There was hardly workspace to make coffee as the fridge was sitting almost on the entire surface of a drawer Double bed has a hump in the middle Single bed is a trampoline The hot water is scalding hot and difficult to regulate Parking atrocious. 6 cars had to share a very difficult parking space for 4 cars only. This resulted in us being parked in and unable to leave. We had to knock on doors to find the owners of the parked cars. One became rude because we had to wake him up. Pricey. We paid more than a 5 star hotel in Queenstown or Mount Cook Village. No face cloths No drinking glasses or cutlery No chair to sit on or small table. We had to eat sitting on the bed

The place was very homely with communal kitchen and lounge room. We got to meet other travellers to exchange stories about travels and experiences. The accomodation was absolutely spotless.

We liked the view & spacious room.

A good shared kitchen but some visitors didn’t clean up their dishes before they left.

Basic facility but surprisingly roomy and very clean. We had a lovely lake view. Especially grateful for laundry and kitchen facilities
