Spacious and clean room with a big bed. Close to the beach. Friendly guys that really want to accommodate you. Contact with owner is very good.

We didn’t like the smell of air fresheners in the room, but maybe that is a personal preference…

Rock Violet, and it’s a real oasis of peace! The garden by the river is beautiful, with lush greenery and roaming peacocks, and it's just a short walk to the beach. The Taste of Ceylon restaurant serves amazing, authentic food, and the staff is super friendly. It's also a great spot for families to relax and have fun. Highly recommend!

Super friendly and helpful staff (hotel and restaurant). Delicious food! The garden is just amazing! Super peaceful. Bed is comfy and the shower has hot water. Very clean. Would definitely come again and can totally recommend.

A mini fridge in the room would be nice and better wifi

This was one of the best places we had! If you are looking for a quiet place, far away from noisy beaches, this is the region to stay. There are many small cabanas around, all beautifully hidden behind bushes and trees. We booked the upper room and just sat on the veranda and watched the birds and the peacocks and the many water birds in the lagoon. The house is surrounded by a lovely garden. The room is spacious, same as the bathroom with warm water shower. Everything is spotless clean. It is true what people wrote, that communication in English is a bit difficult, but this was no problem for us, this is the case in many other countries worldwide and makes travelling so interesting. The beach is just a few minutes away, not for swimming, but for long and lonely walks. The nearest food shop is 15 min. to walk, or a short TukTuk ride. There are many small and good restaurants nearby. The place is highly recommended for people who are looking for a quiet place.

It is a beautiful location by the mangrove swamps and the garden was full of birds. We loved being able to walk to the beach to watch the turtles. The food in the restaurant was excellent and beautifully presented.

The manager had quite limited Englush which made communication difficult.

A superb accommodation in a laid back area soo chilled, full of huge spacious and lush gardens around. It’s a perfect getaway. We stayed in the upper room which was clean, had good AC and was also very spacious along with the terrace where we watched the sunset while peacocks were wandering around down below in the garden. The beach is just 10 minutes away and you can find nice little local restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.
