Percy Wood Lodges with Hot Tubs

The location of the lodge was lovely and quiet. Hot tub was really nice and the cover over the top helped when it started to rain.

The door leading out to the hot tub didn’t open so it meant walking around onto mud and grass to get to and from hot tub. The oven wouldn’t work but we didn’t realise this until we were about to settle for the night, informed owner who directed us through how to get it working but still wouldn’t work. So food we’d bought to bring up went in the bin as there was no other way to cook it. Found takeaway leaflets in kitchen so ordered from there.

The property was absolutely gorgeous, so big and spacious and very clean and fresh. My partner and I have loved every second here and I must say, my cat has really enjoyed himself too!

Location is perfect

Hot tub dirty and broken. Beds very uncomfortable. Patio doors locked no keys to open them . Jacuzzi bath broken. Oven broken. Rust on decking. Broken patio furniture stored to rear of cabin. Outside decking and windows dirty. Kitchen drawers dirty and rusty. Fire remote broken couldn't use the fire. Cleaner arrived and emptied the hot tub directly onto our suitcases and bags as we were about to load them into our car .

Lodge was comfortable and relaxing in a quiet spot. A great location for exploring Northumberland. Soft furinshings in the lounges are were nice, plenty of kitchen equipment. 

But. I have spoken to the owner and suggested many improvements to the property to restore it as a luxury lodge.  It is in need of some investment and TLC.  Some of the issues have been raised many times before by other guests but were never resolved. Some over 12 months. I've never been told to light a gas oven with a cigarette lighter before! Hence, we didn't. No oven for a week. Bedroom doors hanging off. Nice features didn't work. Patio decking, gates broken or missing.  Feedback to the owner seems to have been well received. Nice relaxing holiday and comfortable lodge, the issues didn't spoil our holiday. Just needs some investment and TLC.

Liked the location and site. The lodge was nice and had a spacious lounge and dining area. Also hot tub was lovely, warm and relaxing.

Too many maintenance issues but were able to contact the owner with no problems.

It was very tidy but wasnt as clean as we would of hoped for. Didnt realise it was pet friendly and there was dog hair in the living room so didn't go in there for our stay . Tv channels didnt seem to work either. Place seemed to be a little worn

You need a car ,we walked to local village only a small cafe Needed a car for going elsewhere Not much on the park apart from a small golf club which was expensive to eat
