Denali Fireside Cabin & Suites

Great location close to Talkeetna Main Street and everything there. Cute spacious cabin with a good sized kitchenette. Unfortunately our fireplace wasn’t working which would have been nice.

Quite expensive for what was a pretty basic cabin but I guess that’s Alaskan prices!

Very loud train passed right next to the room several times a night. The heater in the room was broken and they would not move us.

Great location, very friendly & we loved it!! Nice cabin with a front porch! Perfect place to stay in Talkeetna! Within walking distance to town. We stayed here 3 nights & had a great stay!

I don't like the property at all due to their service and attitude!!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night and was wrongly and unfairly charged for multiple things. When we asked for proof, the staff refused to provide any. The service and attitude were extremely poor—rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When we tried to discuss the charges, their response was simply: “Go ahead and sue me.” The issues included: 1. Key charges – We booked two rooms and were only given two keys. After checkout, they falsely claimed they had issued three keys. No proof for that. 2. Window blind damage – They accused us of breaking a blind, but there was already a hole when we checked in. We noticed it immediately and, to avoid further damage, we never even touched the blind. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone given their dishonest practices and unacceptable customer service.

Nice cabin with 2 queen beds ( no couch ) nice bathroom and small kitchenette. Clean and comfortable. Location was walking distance to the little town 5 -7 minutes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you

As an FYI only- the train line was very close to our cabin😂 but only one train came by late afternoon and it was fun to watch. Another came about 11-30 pm but I was so sound asleep I heard nothing and I am the world’s worst sleeper. So don’t let this put you off .
