Loved the soaking tub. Beautiful space

Nice big room was very comfortable. Location is good for seeing downtown Talkeetna and for dining. Staff (owner) was very helpful and friendly. Walked to train station and downtown.

We stayed two nights at the Denali Fireside Cabins in Talkeetna. A beautiful cabin that was very clean and they actually ask guests to remove their shoes when entering. The cabin is roomy and well appointed. The location is close enough to town that you can walk to all the local attractions. The Latitude 62 restaurant is right next door and was highly recommended by the locals we asked about dining. Hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The design and comfort level was great. It is a small space but very well arranged. The decor is very nice. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean.

The cabins are so charming and comfortable! Cute furnishings and chairs in the front porch for enjoying the fresh air. Highly recommended!

The only downside is the Alaska train runs behind the property. I heard it in the night. But for us, it wasn’t a problem.

Denali Fireside Cabins was the PERFECT place to stay in Talkeetna. The location was a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 10-minute walk into town. It was also a very short walk to K2 Aviation, which is where we flew out of for a Denali sightseeing flight. Don was very helpful, and check-in was smooth. The cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed for our visit. It was really nice having a space with a table and chairs (to play cards at night), a kitchenette, a futon sofa to curl up and read on, and our own front porch with rocking bench! I felt sorry for all the people waiting in long lines to catch a bus or hotel shuttle to get to their accommodation. Save yourself the time and stay closer to the action!
