Hunters Lodge With Hot Tub

Very spacious, hot tub was amazing, beds very comfortable, loads of room in the open plan living/ kitchen area

It would've been nice if the hot tub was a little more private

The lodge was clean, well presented, and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Loved the hot tub. The location was great, lots to do in the local area such as Castle Howard and York just a drive away.

Nothing

Lodge was clean and welcoming, very cold though on arrival. Heating didn't work so had to call emergency number was sorted very quickly though.

Never reply to your messages! Asked for a late check out still no reply 6 weeks later. Safety deposit is still pending and not been credited back correctly. Not enough cups, glasses, plates and bowls for 6 people stopping in the lodge.

Lovely sized property.. excellent on suite shower .. lovely to have Christmas tree .. plenty of clean sheets bedding towels .. lovely to have use of hot tub.. easy instructions to follow to access property.. would have no problems recommending to family/friends

This isn’t complaint just observations Sofa and sofa bed in lounge worn when sat on them .. would benefit from new pans etc kitchen .. no mattress cover provide .. like I state.. just observations

The lodge was welcoming

There was no bag for the towels and bedding like stated, the lampshades in the bedrooms were dusty and we were placed in the wrong lodge which we wouldn't of known if the staff didn't come and knock on the door and check our email.

The bed was uncomfortable which wasn’t helped by the mattress protector.Didn’t sleep very well.

The whole lodge was lovely, excellent location, excellent facilities for making dinner and spending time in the lodge for holiday.

Shower continuously dripped in the en-suite so floor was always wet but if door was closed, you couldn't hear it. Walls were affected by this as black mould had grown on the grout. This put me off using this but used the bath/shower instead so wasn't a big deal at all.
