Close to restaurants and wedding venue we had to attend.

Side sliding door didn't open which was next to bbq. So we had to walk around half the cottage. The shower took a while to adjust from hot and cold.

Needs maintenance Cracked walls Shower cubicle rusted and needs replacing No rugs in any room so loud and noisy with TV on. beds moved when getting in and out. 1 sofa that sits 3 people when it's catered for 4 not enough seats. No basic condiments in kitchen No kitchen roll 1 tea towel No bag of ice supped

Won't stay again Furniture very outdated Dark brown , chunky , stained . Tv size was ridiculous!

The house was fabulous but lacking a little TLC. It is a beautiful house in a great and convenient location. Great pizza restaurant on site.

It stated in the facilities on the booking.com website that there was air conditioning. There was an a/c unit in one room and that was the upstairs bedroom. If I had known this was the case I would never have booked this house for a stay in February in the Hunter Valley. The other issue is that despite having four doors that could be opened only the front door had a fly screen. In the information it stated that doors should be kept closed as there are snakes in the area during hot weather. The issue would be easily solved if all doors were equipped with lockable fly screens to create an airflow. My booking also indicated that breakfast was included when I booked but on the app it then states breakfast is provided upon arrival. We also found that there was a lack of towels especially as there is a pool and therefore to swim we had to use our bathroom towels. Toiletries are also very minimal.
