Amantani Lodge

Henry et Mariluz sont un couple adorable et très accueillant, on a passé un super séjour en leur compagnie.

We loved how welcoming Mariluz, Henry and their son Rudy were. We had the wonderful opportunity to get to know them during meal times and all the activities they shared with us (hiking, weaving, etc). The food itself was so fresh, varied and delicious. We had a very relaxing time on the island and would not hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone going to Peru. Make sure to stay for at least two nights to be able to fully relax and enjoy. Do be ready for cold evenings but the warm blankets and hot water bottle provided made the sleep so cozy. This is a truly special opportunity to learn about life on Amantaní - we will never forget it.

Our stay on Amantaní was honestly one of the most special experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us like family. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, sharing delicious homemade meals, stories, and little moments that made the whole stay feel incredibly personal. It didn’t feel like we were guests at all, but more like we were part of their family for those days. Everything was so full of heart, and that’s what made it unforgettable. We left feeling so grateful for the experience and the connection we shared. If you’re visiting Amantaní, staying here is something really special 🤍

Amantanì ist mehr als nur ein Tagestrip wert! Die Insel ist sehr schön, und perfekt zum abschalten. Wir haben die 3 Tage hier sehr genossen. Unsere Gastgeber Henry und Mariluz waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns von Hafen abgeholt und wieder weggebracht und uns geholfen uns Gepäck zu tragen. Sie haben sich mit einfachem Spanisch mit uns unterhalten (weil wir es kaum beherrschen) und sehr lecker gekocht. Sie sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! ♥️

It’s beautiful. Whitewashed walls with boiganveille spilling over. Our room looked over the Lake which of course is vast and a total blue (on sunny days). Our room was spotless with tiled floors and plate glass windows (which open!) And had touches of local arts — embroidered bed runners. The dining area was just steps away and was always welcoming with plates of steaming food carefully prepared by our host, Mariluz

There’s a fairly steep path up from the ferry dock. It was too hard for me with my luggage. But again Mariluz came to the rescue — and carried my bag up for me, effortlessly. Other than that goat path there was really nothing wrong
